2008:

• The company is subsidiary of the Wavecom company, at 100%, since the 1st of February 2008: Anyware Technologies and Wavecom join their know-how to create an unique and innovative platform for the M2M field of activity.

2007:

• Anyware Technologies becomes a member of the Eclipse Foundation: active member of the Eclipse evangelism and technical relay of the Foundation in France, the SME is now involved in the decisions related to technical and marketing aspects of the Eclipse platform;
• Anyware Technologies consolidates its positioning as the first French M2M software editor and solutions provider by developing applications in numerous fields of activity: billboards, nuclear powerplant, lighting... The company is among the first hundrer M2M companies in the world;
• Ametys, the CMS of Anyware Technologies, is now Open Source. Two websites are dedicated to this tool: www.ametys.org (the website of the community) and www.ametys.fr (the website dedicate which presents the solution).
• Anyware Technologies has dozen of Apache and Eclipse committers among the consultants of the society.

2006 :

• Anyware Technologies has become the French leader in Eclipse expertise by getting deeply involved in the Eclipse Foundation's projects such as modelling, embedded systems... we have used use them for our customers' own projects. Anyware Technologies is also a member of Aerospace Valley, the global competititivity pole for Aeronautics, Space and Embedded Systems based in Midi-pyrénées and Aquitaine.
• Our Automation business was included into our M2M business activity and IT system business was renamed Solutions and Technologies. So Anyware Technologies offer sproducts and services in two business fields : Solutions and Technologies and M2M.

2004-2005:

• Responding to market trends, we enlarged our offer by targeting another business area: Machine-to-Machine. To face with this new activity, staff has been hired and a €3.2 million fund has been raised to sustain the company development;
• Anyware Technologies has become a major player ine the Apache Foundation , one of the most famous open source communities in the world. Our Research & Technology Manager has been appointed President of the Apache Cocoon project and thereby has become the only French Vice-President in the Foundation;
• In 2005, the company started participating in the Eclipse Foundation , another very famous open source community, by initiating the Lepido project. The lepido project aims at facilitating the use of Apache Cocoon; it thus represents a "bridge" between the two expert worlds, namely Apache and Eclipse.

2002 – 2004:

• Stage of business development. Our offer has been structured in 2 business areas: IT Systems and Automation. Anyware Technologies got the first validations of its offer by being Schneider certified. We also joined Schneider CAPP (Collaborative Automation Partner Program). 

2000 – 2002:

• While the Apache Cocoon framework shows a tremendous potential, it really needs to be simplified to attract further users. Consequently, Anyware Technologies heavily invested in R&D to promote this project. Meanwhile, we detected a critical need for the Internet in the industrial world that would make it much more performant. Consequently, we developed the first industrial web applications based on Apache Cocoon. 

2000:

• Based on the statement that the web application development has regressed in quality and software engineering, eight engineers, coming from the Industry or the Services business fields, decided to work together in filling the gap. They created Anyware Technologies. Anyware Technologies made the strategic choice to use open source and XML (pivotal and standard format) technologies for our products. As a result, some of us involved themselves in the Apache Foundation Cocoon project, that will be one of our major tools of internal development.
